Aamer leads Pakistan to a white wash

Mohammad Aamer took 3 for 27 to deliver Pakistan an 11-run win in the 2nd T20 against Australia at Edgbaston

The second T20I between Pakistan and Australia was concluded at Edbaston.Pakistan was able to won that game by 11 runs with the all round performances of Mohommad Aamer.This leaded Pakistan to a 2-0 victory of the T20I series.Australians who chased 162 were struggled for 151.The scores were as follows;

Pakistan 162-9 (K Akmal 33,Butt 31,O'Keefe 3-29,Nannes 3-30,) (20 overs)
Australia 151 (D Hussey 33,Clarke 30,Hopes 30,Aamer 3-27,Afridi 2-30) (19.4 overs)

CLT20 Schedule announced

The world's best T20 domestic league will be started in September in South Africa.Ten teams have been divided into two groups as Group 'A' and Group 'B' where each group comprises five teams.

Umar Akmal powered Pakistan with a boundary-laden 64, Australia v Pakistan, 1st Twenty20, Edgbaston, July 5, 2010

Pakistan recorded a 23 run victory over Australia on the first T20I between two nations which was held at Edgbaston.Umar Akmal's half century which came from just 31 balls help them to reach a reasonable score of 167.This was his fourth T20I half century.Australia who chased 167 were restricted to 144 due to some attacking balling of Ajmal,Aamer and Gul.The scores were as follows;

CLT20 Venues have been named

New South Wales celebrate their Champions League victory, New South Wales v Trinidad & Tobago, Champions League Twenty20 final, Hyderabad, October 23, 2009

The Champions League governing Council has named the venues for Champions League 2010 whcih will be held from 10 -26th of September.The Wanderers stadium in Johannersburg,St.George's Park in Port Elizabeth,Kingsmead in Durban and Centurion Park in Centurion have been selected as the venues.Already 9 teams have been selected and one from West Indies has yet to be selected.

India beat Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in the second T20I between two countries.With that victory India won the series as 2-0.Indian captain Suresh Raina's half century makes their victory more easy.The scores were as follows;

Sri Lanka plans T20 league with foreign players

Sri Lankan Cricket Board's newly appointed chief selector Mr.Aravinda Desilva said that there is a plan of participating foreign players in the inter provincial T20 tournament.The move is to grt more foreign sponsorships and attrarction to the tournament.He further explained that the spectators are able to see some exciting cricket and this will be a good step for Sri Lankan cricket.He also showed how IPL has become popular among the spectators.The tournament consists 6 teams and Wayamba emerged as winners for the second consecutive time.
